Workshops, conferences and competitions

Period of studies is the best time to focus on personal development, development of skills and competences. Therefore the Brisge Scholarship Program offers its participants various workshops and conferences.

Workshops  „The  Bridge Leaders” give the possibility  to develop  social skills, gain experience, meet other  bridge scholarship holders , but also to actively spend time.

Students can also apply for a grant from the Polish-American Freedom Foundation to cover costs connected to participation in Presidential Classroom.

In June 2013, for the first time the Interdisciplinary Academic Conference „Academic Start” was organized on the initiative of students. Bridge scholarship holders had an opportunity to present their papers, research results and share their interests. The conference touched wide range of disciplines and subjects, from chemistry through marketing to Italian literature. The active participants could take part in a competition for the best lecture.

Bridge scholarship holders are also strongly encouraged to get involved in voluntary work. Projector-Student Volunteers” Program uses the intellectual potential and activity of students in equalizing educational opportunities for children and young people from small towns through the implementation, at leisure time, of educational projects in schools by groups of students-volunteers.
